Andrew Riordan is Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool, UK.
Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, Associate Editor of Archives of Disease in Childhood, Member of Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation and chaired the Meningococcal Sub-committee
He was Johanne Holly Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool and wrote his Doctoral Thesis on Meningococcal Disease. He has helped produce NICE guidance on the management of fever in children and NICE quality standards for the care of children with meningitis and meningococcal disease. Andrew is a member of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation and chaired the Meningococcal Sub-committee.
