EIP aims to design and deliver a high-quality, independent, transparent, and effective scientific program.

Once the scientific program has been finalised, an application will be made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation of this event.

The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

American Medical Association (AMA): Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found here.

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada: Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. For more information, visit here.

If you have attended EIP since 2016 and didn’t collect, or you have lost the certificate of one the previous EIP conferences, please follow the links below to request a new one be issued:

➡️  EIP 2019: Up to 16 CME Credits Send Request

➡️  EIP 2018: Up to 18 CME Credits Send Request

➡️  EIP 2017: Up to 17 CME Credits Send Request

➡️  EIP 2016: Up to 15 CME Credits Send Request

The CME certificate will be delivered electronically after completing the educational evaluation and credit claiming procedure. Feedback is an important part of the CME accreditation process and helps improve future educational offerings. The process takes about 5 minutes.

Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Please note that the EIP 2020 online evaluation will be active on the last day of the conference. You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.

Attendees are required to use the conference mobile application to complete an evaluation form for each session that they attend. The feedback given enhances the ability of the Steering Committee and organisation staff to meet attendees’ educational needs.

After each session attendees are asked to evaluate each presenter’s quality of content, presentation style, whether the stated learning objectives have been met and if they have considered the session as free of commercial bias.
