Once the scientific program is completed, the 17th Excellence in Pediatrics Conference will apply to be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME ®). The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found HERE. Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® credits, are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Sessions Evaluation

Attendees must use the EIP Virtual Attendee Hub or the Mobile Conference App to complete an evaluation form for the overall meeting and each session they attend. After each session, attendees will receive a notification prompting them to assess the presenter's quality of content, presentation style, achievement of the stated learning objectives, and the session's independence from commercial bias. CME credits can only be claimed for sessions attended.

Attendance Tracking

EIP will use tracking technology to collect session attendance data during the conference to understand participation patterns, improve the meeting, and develop new services for the attendees.

Certificate of Attendance and CME Credits

Once the conference concludes, we will send you a link through which you can access and print your certificate. This certificate will be issued after you complete an online feedback form about the conference. Your CME credits depend on the number of sessions you attended in the halls, online, or watched as videos on-demand. Be sure to enter your details accurately during registration, as your certificate will be created using the name you provided.

Certificate of Abstract Presentation

If you have presented your abstract In-Person or Online, you are entitled to a Certificate of Presentation confirming the presentation you delivered at the conference. Certificates of Presentation will be made available 15 days after the meeting ends through the Abstracts Submission Platform (Conftool). You must access the account you have used to submit your abstract to download it. Certificates of Presentation will not be available for authors who missed their sessions or didn't deliver their presentations.
