Frequently Asked Questions on Oral Presentation of Abstract

How will I present my abstract?

Your approved abstract will be included in one of the Oral Presentation Sessions. As a presenter, you will receive further instructions on how to access the system.

How long should my Oral Presentation be?

Oral Presentations should be 8 minutes long.

What will I need for my presentation?

You will need to have access to a computer with a camera, audio and microphone. Good quality internet is also essential to ensure good video quality. An external Hi-definition web camera would be preferable to provide the best quality of your video.

Should I send the Powerpoint presentation to you before my session?

Yes, please do so before November 15, so that we will be able to help you in case anything goes wrong from your end. The most important thing is to have the presentation on the desktop of your computer, put it in presentation mode and then share your desktop to make it visible to all attending. We will send you detailed instructions.

I haven't done online presentations before, and I feel anxious

No reason to feel nervous. We will make sure that everything will go well. Detailed instructions will be sent in due time, and a practice session will be scheduled 10 days before the actual sessions. Our platform uses Zoom for speakers, and you may be already familiar with the simple Zoom Meetings functionality.
