Jason (Jay) Homme, M.D. is an assistant professor of pediatrics and served as the pediatric residency Program Director for 9 years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. USA

He is a graduate of Bethel University and completed medical school, pediatrics residency, and a chief resident year all at Mayo Clinic.  He has been a member of the faculty since 2003 and practices as a primary care pediatrician as well as attending on the inpatient pediatrics service.


Clinical interests include evidenced based management of common conditions such as group A strep pharyngitis, acute otitis media, and bronchiolitis.  He enjoys teaching and is frequent lecturer to anyone willing to listen.  Personal interests include spending time with his wife of 24 years and their six children, reading, running, playing golf and basketball (as time permits).
