Michael W. Hodin, Ph.D., is the CEO of the Global Coalition on Aging, Managing Partner at High Lantern Group, and a Fellow at Oxford University’s Harris Manchester College. He is a renowned expert on aging, having delivered speeches at prestigious international forums such as the G20, APEC, Davos, and the World Knowledge Forum. Dr. Hodin’s expertise in aging and public policy has made him a sought-after thought leader in the field, where he advocates for the societal and economic benefits of addressing aging-related challenges.
From 1976 to 1980, Dr. Hodin served as Legislative Assistant to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, where he gained invaluable experience in policy-making. He went on to enjoy a distinguished 30-year career at Pfizer, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s International Public Affairs and Public Policy operations.
Dr. Hodin holds a BA, cum laude, from Cornell University, an M.Sc. from The London School of Economics, and both an M.Phil and Ph.D. from Columbia University. His academic background, combined with his extensive leadership experience in the public and private sectors, enables him to drive impactful change in the field of aging and public health. Through his work at the Global Coalition on Aging and High Lantern Group, Dr. Hodin continues to influence global policy on aging, striving to improve health outcomes and promote active aging across the world.
