Ursula Kiechl-Kohlendorfer's main research interests are short and long-term outcome of preterm infants including cardiovascular follow-up, neonatal neuroscience, and the epidemiology of sudden infant death syndrome.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

She actively mentors students at the Medical University of Innsbruck, has supervised numerous diploma and doctoral theses and is involved in international research collaborations. Her research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, and she serves as a reviewer for several journals that focus on the topics of neonatal outcome and neonatal neuroscience.

Currently she is President of the Austrian Pre- and Perinatal Society.
