Dr Vincenzo Piccolo is currently Responsible for the Paediatric Dermatology Service- Dermatology Unit, University of Campania, Naples, Italy. He graduated in Medicine and post-graduated in Dermatology in Naples. His main fields of interests are Pediatric Dermatology and Dermoscopy. He has obtained National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in Dermatology (06/D4 Cutaneous diseases, infectious diseases and digestive diseases) in 2021. He is teacher at Vanvitelli University Second level Master “Oncologic Dermatology” and “Tichological sciences” and tutor for the International Master in “Hair and Nail Dermoscopy” at Cardiff University. He works as Senior Dermatologist Consultant with experience in Pediatric Dermatology, General Dermatology, Dermoscopy, Trichoscopy, and Dermatoncology. He is active as scientific profile and produced 183 international papers (reaching H index 23- 7th jul 2024), 4 books, 8 book chapters. He is also a scientific divulgator with about 200 national and international lectures given and organization of scientific congresses in Dermatology. He works as lecturer for online International courses for Sweden and Australia. He is Section Editor for Pediatric Dermatology Section of Dermatology Practical and Conceptual Journal and certified Reviewer for several scientific international journals. He is member on national and international societies of Dermatology and Co-Chair of the Task Force in Pediatric Dermatology of European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology. He is married and father of 2 children.
