Professor. Dr, Head of the Pediatric Department, Kantonsspital Wintherthur (SWITZERLAND)

After her study of Medicine at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, Rotraud (Traudel) Saurenmann completed a training in pediatrics (specialist title in pediatrics 1997), followed by a training in pediatric rheumatology in Bern, Paris and Toronto. During 1999-2012 she was the Head of Pediatric Rheumatology at Zurich University Children’s Hospital.

She is a member of PRES (Pediatric Rheumatology European Society) and PRINTO (Paediatric Rheumatology International Trials Organization) since 1998, has served on the council of the Swiss Working Group for Paediatric Rheumatology since 1998 and as the Chair of PRES Education and Training Committee 2006-2012. Since 2012 she is the Head of the Pediatric Department at the Cantonal Hospital in Winterthur, Switzerland.
