Once the program is completed, the 15th Excellence in Pediatrics Conference will apply for accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®)

The EACCME® is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu. Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.Live educational activities occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

SESSIONS EVALUATION

Attendees must use the EIP Virtual Attendee Hub or the Mobile Conference App to complete an evaluation form for each session they attend. After each session, attendees are asked to evaluate each presenter's quality of content, presentation style, whether the stated learning objectives have been met, and whether they have considered the session free of commercial bias. You can only claim the CME credits for the sessions you attended and completed the evaluation survey.

ATTENDANCE TRACKING

EIP will collect session attendance data during the conference using tracking technology to understand participation patterns, improve the meeting, and develop new services for the attendees.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE AND CME CREDITS

After the meeting, we will send you a link to access and print your certificate of attendance and CME Credits. The CME certificate will be sent to attendees who have attended the sessions live in the halls or online through the EIP Virtual Hub and completed the sessions evaluations and the conference feedback survey.

The sessions' videos will be available for 90 days, and you can also claim the CME credits for the sessions you will watch after the meeting. We will be checking the attendance of the session videos for 90 days and the feedback forms completed after the meeting. We will send the certificate to those who didn't get it initially after the meeting because they didn't attend the required number of sessions live.

CERTIFICATE OF PRESENTING AN ABSTRACT

In case you presented an abstract as an Oral or Poster Presentation, we will send you a link via the Abstracts Management Platform to access and print your presentation certificate after the meeting. Please remember that the Abstracts system will remain open until the end of May 2024. We strongly advise downloading and saving your certificate immediately after receiving the notification.
