Public Health MD, PhD, Senior Researcher, French National School of Public Health (EHESP)
Emmanuelle Godeau is a public health doctor and holds a PhD in social anthropology. She is currently senior researcher at EHESP school pf public health in Rennes, in charge of the national training for school doctors. Her research focuses on health behaviour of adolescent, with a specific interest on risks behaviours and students with chronic conditions. Her work considers school as a health setting in a broad health promotion perspective. She is the PI for HBSC France since 2000 and has been in several positions in this international network. In France, since 2018, HBSC and ESPAD have merged under a unique project named EnCLASS monitoring health behaviours and their determinants throughout secondary school.
