Prof. Agneta Yngve is the faculty professor at the Department of Food studies, Nutrition and Dietetics, Uppsala University, Her particular focus is meal science. She was the editor-in-chief for the Journal Public Health Nutrition, published by the Nutrition Society and Cambridge University Press, during the period 2007-2012. She has been the President of Academy of Culinary Arts and Meal Science since 2018.

Professor of Food Chain Nutrition and Director of the Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health at the University of Reading UK

Professor Ian Givens has undergraduate and doctoral training in biochemistry and nutrition and is a UK Registered Nutritionist. He is currently Professor of Food Chain Nutrition and Director of the Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health at the University of Reading UK. His research focuses on the consequences of consuming animal-derived foods, including their contribution to nutrient supply and association with chronic disease risk across the key life stages.

JAY HOMME

 

Jason (Jay) Homme, M.D. is an assistant professor of pediatrics and served as the pediatric residency Program Director for 9 years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. USA

He is a graduate of Bethel University and completed medical school, pediatrics residency, and a chief resident year all at Mayo Clinic.  He has been a member of the faculty since 2003 and practices as a primary care pediatrician as well as attending on the inpatient pediatrics service.

Katarzyna Wroblewska-Seniuk, Assistant Professor at the Department of Newborns’ Infectious Diseases at Poznan University of Medical Studies, POLAND

Katarzyna Wroblewska-Seniuk is Assistant Professor at the Department of Newborns’ Infectious Diseases at Poznan University of Medical Studies, Poland, where she has been working since 2002.  She is a specialist in pediatrics and neonatology. Her main topics of interest are: Perinatal complications in newborns of diabetic mothers, hypoglycemia and hyperinsulinemia in newborns. Risk factors for hearing deficit in newborns and neonatal hearing screening.

Kim Fleischer Michaelsen, MD. DrMedSci, Professor Emeritus in Paediatric Nutrition at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen. DENMARK

He has established the research group: Paediatric and International Nutrition at the department. The group has projects in Denmark, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.  The focus of his research include effects of breastfeeding and complementary feeding on growth, development and risks of diseases later in life, both in high and low-income countries.

Mikael Norman was born 1957 in Stockholm, Sweden. He graduated as M.D. at Karolinska Institutet in 1982 and finalized his Ph.D. in 1992. In 1995, he was appointed Consultant and he became Associate Professor in 1998. In 2001-2004 Mikael Norman worked as senior researcher at the Swedish Research Council.

Associate Professor, Department of Epidemiology, Julius Center Research Program Infectious Diseases, University Medical Center Utrecht, THE NETHERLANDS

Patricia Bruijning-Verhagen is an associate professor of infectious diseases epidemiology at the Julius Center for Health Sciences of the UMC Utrecht and clinical epidemiologist at the Department of Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Surveillance of the RIVM. She is a registered Pediatrician (2008) and Epidemiologist B (2013). She conducted her PhD work on rotavirus epidemiology and vaccination at McGill University and Utrecht University (2013).
